Auditions Announced For Wagon Wheel Community Theatre Shakespearean Play

Wagon Wheel Community Theatre is inviting adult performers ages 18 and older to audition for its upcoming production of William Shakespeare’s beloved comedy, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” presented with a 1980s-inspired twist.
This production will feature the original Shakespearean text set against the colorful style, energy and aesthetic of the 1980s, according to a news release from the Wagon Wheel. Performers, creatives and Shakespeare fans are invited to be part of this Community Theatre experience at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts.
Auditions will be hel Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16 from 6–9 p.m. at the Wagon Wheel Conservatory, 2517 E. Center St., Warsaw. All auditionees must complete a digital audition form prior to attending auditions.
Callbacks will be July 18 from 3 to 5 p.m., with a read-through July 23. The rehearsal period will be Aug. 19 to Sept. 24; with performances Sept. 25-27.
Wagon Wheel Community Theatre provides opportunities for local performers, artists and theatre enthusiasts to collaborate, learn and bring stories to life on stage. Community productions welcome performers of all experience levels who are passionate about theatre and excited to work together in a creative environment.
Whether you are a longtime Shakespeare performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, this production offers an opportunity to explore one of theatre’s most celebrated comedies in a fresh and imaginative setting, the release states.
