An Auburn man was arrested early Wednesday morning after a minor female alleged he had sexual intercourse with her when she was 10 or 11 years old. According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, Child Protective Services were contacted Jan. 31 and told by the minor that Kim A. Jacquay, 57, Auburn, had sexual intercourse with her. During a subsequent interview Feb. 11, the victim said sometime between 2008 and 2009, when she was 10 or 11 years old, she was at Jacquay’s residence, then in Kosciusko County. The victim stated that while she was in bed, Jacquay removed her clothing and began touching and kissing her inappropriately and then had sexual intercourse with her. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies later spoke with Jacquay, who admitted he removed the girl’s clothing and touched and kissed her inappropriately. He also admitted he attempted sexual intercourse with the victim. Jacquay was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail Wednesday on preliminary charges of child molesting, a Class A felony, and held on a $20,000 bond. No initial hearing has been scheduled.
