Shown (L to R) are Atwood Lions President Claire Milleman, who is presenting the first installment check of $2,000 to Chief Mike Harman and Assistant Chief Chad Heckaman of the Atwood Fire Department. This will be used to purchase the Jaws of Life equipment, which will help the firemen free victims trapped in newer vehicles that are manufactured using stronger metals. The Jaws of Life equipment will be on display at the March 12 Lions Fish Fry at the Atwood Community Building. The firemen will be there to field questions from the public.
