Art for Healthy Lakes, an online auction hosted by The Watershed Foundation (TWF), is open for bidding now through Sept. 7.
The auction features dozens of items donated by local artists, creators and businesses.
Bidders can browse water-themed artwork in a range of media – including painting, photography, sculpture, glass and fiber – from 30-plus area artists like Terry Armstrong, Stephanie McDairmant and others. The auction also includes a variety of items from local businesses, including custom baked goods from The Sweet Exchange, a tattoo session at Cyne Studio, a fused glass class at Pottery Bayou and more.
“TWF’s auction celebrates local artists and local lakes,” says Paige Hubner, development and operations manager at The Watershed Foundation. “I’m amazed at the talent in our community, and I love knowing our lakes inspired these artists to create their beautiful pieces and then donate them to help protect the lakes, too.”
Bidders can see over 25 items on display at Warsaw City Hall through Aug. 31. Selected artwork will also be featured during TWF’s Winona Lake Cottage Tour on Sept.6. All auction items can be viewed online.
