Annual Riley Hospital Campaign Set For Sunday

Posted

Each year, children from Kosciusko County make more than 600 visits to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

Riley Hospital provides services that are unavailable anywhere else in Indiana. Riley is maintained by the generous support of the people of Indiana.

The annual Kosciusko Community Campaign for Riley Hospital, "Rubber Ducky Drawing," is one of the ways the local community supports Riley Hospital. The Alpha Lambda Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority sponsors this event.

This year's Rubber Ducky Drawing will be held Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Center Lake Fountain, Warsaw, during Downtown Days. All proceeds from this event will go directly to Riley Hospital.

Tickets will be on sale during Downtown Days under the Tri Kappa tent Thursday through Saturday or available from any Tri Kappa member. The cost is $3 each or two for $5.

Winners need not be present to win, but everyone is invited to watch the ducks be drawn from the fountain. Each numbered ticket will be assigned a duck before the drawing, and as the ducks are removed from the fountain, the prize winners will be notified.

Some of this year's donated prizes include: a balloon ride, a glass bowl, hair products, gift certificates, sofa table, tennis balls, T-shirts, Beanie Babies, potpourri, a mammogram, car washes, dinner packages, an oil change, rounds of golf and other prizes.
