An Akron resident crashed his 2015 Dodge Dart into a utility pole in Warsaw Thursday night. John Hopkins, 20, North Ind. 14, Akron, was driving north on Ind. 15 near South Rosewood Drive after 8 p.m. and fell asleep at the wheel. He hit a NIPSCO utility pole, causing up to $25,000 in damages. Hopkins complained of hip pain from the collision.
