WINONA LAKE – Winona Lake Clerk-Treasurer Kent Adams is seeking re-election in the May 5 primary.
Adams was elected clerk-treasurer in 2011 and is serving his first term. He is a Warsaw native who served 16 years in the Indiana General Assembly, retiring from the Senate in 2004 to return to his home community.
His background includes serving as Kosciusko County treasurer and a member of the Warsaw Community Schools board of trustees. He is a former member of the Grace College board of trustees, the Bowen Center for Human Services board of directors and presently is a member of Warsaw Rotary.
According to a provided press release, “During his years of public service Adams is described as a pro-family, pro-business fiscal conservative.”
“We have made a number of improvements in the clerk treasurer’s office since assuming office for the residents and businesses with the great history and legacy that is Winona Lake. The door is always open. We have an excellent office staff and take very seriously carrying out the duties and responsibilities in our serving the public trust,” Adams is quoted as saying in the release.
