The Day of Action is scheduled for July 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Approximately 600 volunteers from all over Kosciusko County are needed to paint classrooms, hallways, restrooms and other projects to help schools in the community. If you have a team interested in being a part of this countywide event, visit volunteerkosciusko.org to find a project you would like. Jobs are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The local United Way looks forward to helping children of the community by brightening up the classrooms and hallways of the schools, according to a press release from the organization. “We hope this new venture will use many volunteers and give them the opportunity to serve our community through the Day of Action,” the release states.
