AKRON - A South Bend man has been banned from Tippecanoe Valley High School after he allegedly used a cellular telephone to take photos of a female student.

Clint Stone, 42, South Bend, was at TVHS Wednesday morning working a route for Coffel Vending. After signing in at the school office, he went to the vending machine in the school's cafeteria.

While on his way back to the school office, Stone reportedly saw a female and turned around and followed her down the hall.

Stone reportedly took out his cellular telephone and pointed it toward the girl's back side, and followed her to her locker. After the girl left her locker, Stone allegedly continued taking photos of the student as he followed her back to the cafeteria. Once the girl was in the lunch line, one of her friends reportedly blocked Stone's view, and he left the building.

The girls reported the incident to the TVHS resource officer, and he investigated their allegations. After reviewing school surveillance video and confirming the story, he called the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office.

The officer was told that Stone did not break any law, but the school could issue a no trespass warning to Stone for him never be on Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. grounds again.

After speaking with the prosecutor, the officer contacted Coffel Vending and reported the incident.

The owner of the vending company reportedly confiscated Stone's cellular telephone, which belonged to the company, and found photos of the student as well as photos of other women's lower halves. Those photos were not taken at TVHS.

Stone was suspended from his job and other action is pending.
