Filings for the upcoming election began trickling in Wednesday when the month-long filing period began.
Twenty-one candidates had filed by mid morning today, according to information provided by the Kosciusko County clerk's office.
Unlike many past primaries, the 1998 election is expected to include an unusually large number of contested battles among Republican candidates.
