Her court documents list a charge of aiding in the dealing of methamphetamine, a level 2 felony.
On Friday, Warsaw Police Department officer Brad Kellar was conducting traffic enforcement on U.S. 30 when he saw a blue Honda Accord traveling west at 30 mph in a 50 mph zone. When he began to pursue the Honda, he saw it exit U.S. 30 at the Ind. 15 interchange. The driver failed to use the turn signal while turning onto Ind. 15 and then when turning left into Walmart. Kellar made a stop on the vehicle in the Walmart parking lot.
Upon approaching the vehicle, Kellar told the driver, later identified as Fillmore, why she was stopped.
Fillmore told him that she and Williams had been visiting flea markets and shopping in South Bend and Argos and were then doing the same in Warsaw. During his conversation, a WPD K-9 officer and his dog happened to be close by and stopped to assist. The officers patrolled the outer perimeter of the Honda without any occupants inside. The dog alerted the officer on the vehicle, indicating narcotics were inside Fillmore’s vehicle.
A search of the Accord began, during which Kellar found a large amount of small plastic bags containing drugs as well as several cell phones, according to court documents.
After Fillmore and Williams were arrested, officers found meth on Williams that weighed 131 grams. Williams admitted that all of the methamphetamines were hers. On her, Williams also had a pill of Oxycodone and $803 in cash.
During an interview, Williams again admitted she knew the drugs were in the car and that the methamphetamines were hers.
Fillmore admitted they were going to Walmart to collect money from someone and indicated they had gone to Granger earlier to collect money from a woman there. She said Williams was upset because the woman wasn’t there and they had to meet with the girl’s boyfriend to collect the money. She said she drove Williams around to make money pick-ups.
