Two county residents were arrested Wednesday evening for allegedly dealing cocaine.
Ray James Skelton, 38, of 1013 N. Huntington St., Syracuse, and Carla Laraine Jarvis, 36, of 3521 Lake City Highway, Warsaw, were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail Wednesday evening on charges of dealing cocaine.
Undercover officers reportedly bought drugs from Skelton and Jarvis. When uniformed oficers moved in to make the arrest, Skelton fled the scene. After a short chase, Skelton was apprehended and taken into custody.
Along with the dealing cocaine/narcotics charge, Skelton faces charges of fleeing/resisting law enforcement and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
Jarvis also was arrested for a probation violation. Her bond is $10,250.
The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force, Warsaw Police Department and Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department were involved in the investigation.
