Two men were arrested during two separate drug investigations Friday.
Jose Rico, 27, of 1824 Michael St., Warsaw, was arrested on a Class A felony after selling cocaine to an undercover drug task force officer Friday afternoon. Rico's bond was set at $100,00.
During a later investigation, police discovered a meth lab in the Nappanee area.
Nappanee officers responded to a residence at 13317 N. CR 700W and located a methamphetamine lab. While officers were present at the scene, Leon F. Kuhns, 24, of 5282 W. CR 900N, Milford arrived.
The individual they had a warrant for wasn't at the residence.
Kuhns talked with undercover officers and produced methamphetamine precursors to the officers, a police report stated.
Kuhns allegedly told the officers, "Hey I am going to take off out of here."
The officers responded by saying, "Well, actually, you're going with us," a police report said.
Police then identified themselves.
Kuhns then also was reported to have methamphetamines in his possession.
Kuhns was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, 3 grams or more, a class C felony.
