MENTONE - An 11-year-old Mentone boy was suspended from school for 10 days after allegedly making a threat to a teacher.
Officials at Tippecanoe Valley Middle School called police after the student allegedly told a substitute teacher that he would "blow her mother's head off with a machine gun."
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department received the call at 2 p.m. Monday.
School officials told police that the boy will be suspended for 10 days, and police forwarded the matter to the probation department for review and possible charges.
