Marguerite Arlene Buckingham, 104, Winona Lake, died Friday afternoon, June 2, 2017, in Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake. Arrangements are pending at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.  

ARGOS — Judy Lynn Staner-Stewart, 60, Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw, died at 3:54 a.m. June 1, 2017, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, after battling cancer since March 2015. She was born March 11, 1957, in South Bend, to Oliver “Ollie” Staner and Hazel Leona Benninghoff Staner.  Judy spent the past 15 years in Warsaw, having lived in Argos prior to that. She was a production worker at Da-Lite Screen, Warsaw, and was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1975. Judy is survived by her sons, Dennis Staner (wife Jayme) and Matthew Stewart, both of Warsaw; two grandchildren, Alexzandre Staner and Amari Staner; and her companion, Mike Click, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Staner; and sister, Sharon Crum. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Monday, June 5, at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m., with the Rev. ELKHART —  William “Bill” J. Feuquay, 49,  Elkhart, passed away May 24, 2017, at Elkhart General Hospital.   He was born Jan. 1, 1968, in Indianapolis, to James and Susan Feuquay.  On Sept. 6, 2002, in Warsaw, he married Dawn L. Washington; she survives.   Bill was an U.S. Army veteran. He worked at Quality Welding, Warsaw, for 10 years. FORT WAYNE — Steven Earl Bruner, 76, formerly from Warsaw, passed away of natural causes at 6:30 p.m. May 27, 2017, at Bethlehem Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne.  He was born March 3, 1941, to Earl and Margaret Bowser Bruner in Mentone. He was a veteran from the Korean War 7th Infantry Division, where he was an MP. He later worked in the Warsaw Police Department as an officer and later retired from RR Donnelley. He loved to travel and take photographs and watch nature from his window. He is survived by his only child, Kristin (spouse Darrell) Shriver, daughter of former spouse Bonita Bruner, and his beloved grandson, Noah, Akron; and his brother, Dan, (spouse Tammy) Bruner, Greenwood. He also is survived by his friend/partner Diane Moser.  He was preceded in death by both his parents. No services are planned. He will be put to rest at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Marion. Siler Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, was entrusted with arrangements.  

PIERCETON — Carolyn G. Sapp, 62, Pierceton, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, May 28, 2017, in her residence.

Sheree Kay Konkle, 60, Warsaw, died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017, in her home. Arrangements are pending at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.

Robert E. “Bob” Bunch, 75, passed away at 9:08 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2017, in Parkview Hospital Randallia, Fort Wayne. Bob was born in Vincennes on March 23, 1942, to William and Zola Creamer Bunch. He was a 1960 graduate of Elwood High School.  Vicki K. Niverson would become his bride April 16, 1960, in Lafayette. They would share almost 50 years together until her passing Dec. 16, 2009. Living most of his life in Warsaw, Bob was employed for 40 years with Owen’s grocery store. He retired in 2011 as its produce manager. He was a member of Warsaw Wesleyan Church. He liked old classic cars and enjoyed going to the old classic car shows. He also enjoyed gardening. Family members left with memories to treasure are his three daughters and their husbands: Natalie and Chris Gutkowski, Chesterton; Lisa and Max Elder, Pierceton; and Cheryle and Bruce Stouder, Warsaw; and a son, Richard Bunch, Leesburg; and eight grandchildren: Sara, Max, Landon, Jordan, Chase, Connor, Olivia and Derek. Also surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Fran Bunch, Springfield, Mo., and John and Linda Bunch, Chesterton. In addition to his wife, Vicki, he was preceded in passing by a son, Bobby Bunch, Oct. 20, 2000; and his sister, Becky Belle Bostic, March 19, 1976.  The family will receive guests for a time of sharing from  6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 1, at Titus Funeral Home.  A celebration of Bob’s life will take place Friday morning beginning at 10:30 at the funeral home. Harold T. Barker, 87, passed away at 12:51 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. Born Nov. 6, 1929, in Pierceton, to Theron James and Ella Ellene Heleso Barker, Harold was a 1947 graduate of Pierceton High School. He and Marilyn McCarter were joined in marriage Jan. 16, 1949, in Pierceton. She would precede his death Nov. 29, 2010.  Harold was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident and was the owner and operator of Barker Heating for 40 years. Harold was a member of Pierceton United Methodist Church. He served 53 years as a volunteer fireman with the Pier

WPD. • 11:59 p.m. Tuesday – Police say a man stabbed himself and reported it as a robbery in the 3300 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. WPD.

NORTH MANCHESTER — Cloanne Rae Nelson Snyder, 81, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Peabody Retirement Community.  Cloanne was born Sept. 26, 1935, in Warsaw. She graduated from Mentone High School, class of 1953, and attended Manchester College.  Cloanne was sophisticated and smart, a woman far ahead of her time and place. She had a green thumb, loved fashion magazines and shaggy dogs. Above all, she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

 Dennis Allen Lebo, 62, Rochester, passed away May 26, 2017, at Woodlawn Hospital shortly after admission. He was born Feb. 22, 1955, in Rochester, to Floyd Everett and Ruth Maxine Hindelider Lebo. His lifelong companion, Deb Lebo, died Jan. 17, 2017. Dennis headed the maintenance department of Rochester Ford for 15 years.

SYRACUSE — William J. "Bill" Gerrity Jr., 36, Syracuse, passed away at 6:54 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.  He was born Dec. 6, 1980, in Portsmouth, Va., to William J. Sr. and Susan L. Morehead Gerrity.  He lived most of his life in the Syracuse area, attended Wawasee High School and received an associate degree from ITT Technical Institute, Fort Wayne. 

MENTONE — Richard K. Holloway, 77, rural Rochester, died at 7:05 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at his residence after being in failing health for seven years. He was born July 11, 1939, in Fulton County, to Omer Jack and Hazel Tilden Holloway. He married Laura Belle Wilson on Feb. 21, 1959, in Fulton; she preceded on Jan. 7, 2004. He married Terie Vigar on June 28, 2012, in Rochester. She survives. Richard farmed, was a timber buyer, and also owned and operated his own sawmill for many years in Talma. He retired from Holmes & Com., Columbia City.

AKRON — Nancy L. Luckenbill, 83, passed at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.  Formerly of Akron, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Mary Royer Luckenbill.

Katherine A. “Kay” Farrar, 88, Warsaw, passed away at 1:31 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. On Feb. 17, 1929, she was born in Detroit, Mich., to Carl and Marian Leathers Wilson. Kay was united in marriage to William “Bill” Farrar on Aug. 16, 1947, in Mt. Clemens, Mich. He preceded her in death Feb. 26, 2005. Kay graduated from Mt. Clemons High School, then graduated from Manchester College with a bachelor’s degree. She then graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington, with a master’s degree. After moving to the Warsaw area, Kay became a teacher at Leesburg High School, where she taught high school speech and English and directed all of the junior and senior class plays. In 1967, she became a high school guidance counselor for Warsaw High School, where she also helped sponsor the cheerleaders’ squad.  Kay was a member of First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, where she was involved in the Thursday Circle and also the Thursday Morning Bible Study Group. She also was a member of the Eastern Star, Retired Teachers Association, past president of Home Extension Club and served as a CASA representative for several years. Kay also enjoyed playing bridge and participated in various bridge groups. She is survived by two daughters, Carol (spouse Pat) Ireland, North Manchester, and Jane (spouse Greg) Haney, Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.   Kay also was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Roesch; and two brothers, Charles Wilson and Al Moran. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 1, in First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, with Pastor Mark Need officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
