Zoners To Review Daycare Center, Indoor Recreational Facility Requests

Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals tonight will review zoning requests for a daycare center and an indoor recreational facility.
Petitioner Bobbie Crouch, Little Blessings Ministry Daycare II, Church On The Rock, is requesting to permit a daycare center in a residential zoning district at 600 and 610 Oldfather Street.Little Blessings Ministry Daycare II is a second location and part of the ministry of Church on the Rock, located in the adjacent church building at 618 Oldfather St.
Crouch is proposing to purchase the property for the church and daycare ministry on a land contract, which is contingent on the approval of the variance request.
Crouch is requesting the day care to house as many as 37 children.
The board also will review a request from Petitioner Aaron Metzger to permit an indoor recreation facility in a general business district at 2112 E. Winona Avenue.
The request is for a pool hall.
The board will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at city hall.
