Zoners To Hear Video Store Proposal

Posted
Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals Monday night will review a request for a variance for a proposed video store at the former Gordy's site.

Petitioner Keith Haza, Columbia City, will request a variance from development standards for a 14-foot variance from the 15-foot rear yard setback for a video store at 321 S. Buffalo St.

Haza is requesting the variance to allow for a proposed Family Video store to sit one foot from the existing alley bordering the northern property line.

Roger Clemens is the owner of the property that is currently vacant. It burnt down June 21, 2008. Family Video stores are located in Columbia City, Fort Wayne and Peru.

The board will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at city hall.
