Dale Custer will appear tonight at the Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals meeting with two requests.
The petitioner is asking for a variance in development standards to allow for a depth-to-width ratio greater than three-to-one on two lots in the Eagle Crest Subdivision. Both lots are zoned residential and presently are undeveloped.
The board also is scheduled to hear a request from Damien and Ginger Carboneau, 1 Fairlane Drive, for a variance from developmental standards to allow a 5-foot setback, a decrease of 5 feet from developmental standards, for the construction of a privacy fence.
The Carboneaus also will ask for an allowance to construct a 6-foot-tall fence. A 36-inch-tall fence is the public standard which allows for unobstructed views along public right of ways.
BZA members are Dan Hampton, Alan Clingan, Bruce Woodward and Richard Keeven. Bill Rhoades is the city council's representative.
