The Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals will hear two requests tonight.
Dave and Paula Bowman are requesting a variance from developmental standards for a 8-foot by 22-foot balcony at 108 N. Buffalo St.
The Bowmans are planning extensive renovations to the exterior of Kaleidoscope at Courthouse Coffee. The balcony is planned to have black iron railings and to have four or five supports posts from the main level.
The city of Warsaw is requesting a variance from developmental standards to construct a 120-foot by 30-foot enclosed storage area at 794 W. Center St. The building would have no eastside yard setback and a 3-foot south sideyard setback.
The building will house the city's large dump trucks and plows, according to plans submitted by Lacy Francis Jr., public works superintendent.
BZA members are: Alan Clingan, Dan Hampton, Richard Keeven, Tom Heuer and Bruce Woodward. Bill Rhoades is the city council's representative.
