Ken Overmeyer's request for a variance from developmental standards for a 12-foot 7-inch front yard setback was approved.
Overmeyer plans to build an enclosed patio on the Pike Lake channel side of his property at 712 Biscayne Ave.
A request by Jose M. Valencia Rodriguez, 544 E. Main St., for a 14-foot rear yard setback for a room additon also was approved.
