NEW YORK -ÊWawasee senior Shanna Zolman made her mark in New York at the McDonald's All American High School Shootout by winning the three-point shooting contest.
The skills shootout took place Monday and aired Tuesday on ESPN.
Zolman made it to the finals of the three-point competition by scoring 22 points in the first round. She then scored 23 points in the final round to win the competition. Her nearest competitor scored 12 points.
Zolman netted four red, white and blue bonus ball and made 72 percent of all her attempts from behind the arc.
Zolman also took the Big Apple by storm, visiting both the "Today Show" and the "Rosie O'Donnell Show."
Zolman also recorded segments for both Fox and ESPN.
She will play in the Inaugural McDonald's All American Shootout game Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Madison Square Garden in New York. The game will be broadcast at 2 p.m. Monday on ESPN 2.
