Phase 1 of the roundabout construction at Old US 30 and Zimmer Road is progressing quickly. The second phase of this project will require the closure of Zimmer Road south of the intersection. The beginning of Phase 2 and closure of Zimmer Road from Old US 30 to Zimmer Lane will begin as soon as next Monday. Traffic will be detoured to Zimmer Lane and Hepler Drive.
A temporary run-around will be constructed at this time to shift Old US 30 traffic to the North. Traffic will be maintained on Old US 30 for the entirety of the project.
