Warsaw Community Schools (WCS) recognized Zimmer Biomet and the Zimmer Biomet Foundation during the Tiger basketball game against Marion High School Tuesday.
The recognition took place during halftime, where Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert was joined by members of the Zimmer Biomet team to highlight the partnership between WCS and Zimmer Biomet and the Zimmer Biomet Foundation's support of WCS STEM initiatives, according to a news release from WCS.
“WCS is grateful for the community partnership with Zimmer Biomet,” said Hoffert. “Both of our organizations share a strong commitment to our students and to the success of our local community. Zimmer Biomet, along with the Zimmer Biomet Foundation, is instrumental in providing resources for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) materials and programs, as well as support for internships, industry mentors and volunteers within our schools. WCS continues to be a leader in STEM education because of this ongoing partnership.”
Zimmer Biomet’s involvement supports hands-on learning experiences that connect classroom instruction to real-world applications, giving students exposure to STEM opportunities, career pathways and valuable industry insight.
