SYRACUSE - Zachariah D. "Zach" Gann, 17, of Pierceton, died at 8:36 a.m. March 4, 2008, in his grandparent's residence in Goshen.
He was born Sept. 29, 1990, in Maynard, Ark., to Eddie D. and Julia L. Hughes Gann.
A lifetime Syracuse/Pierceton area resident, he was a sophomore at Whitko High School, South Whitley, and attended North Webster Church of God.
Surviving are his mother, Julie Wozniak, Pierceton; his father, Eddie D. Gann, Maynard; two half sisters, Alicia and Latasha Gann, both of Maynard; and grandparents, James and Juanita Hughes, Goshen, and Opal Henderson, Kansas City, Kan. He was preceded in death by a half sister and a grandfather.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastors Jeff Boyer and Gary Lewis officiating.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
