To coordinate with the summer reading challenge, yoga teacher Heather Barron will present an “Oceans of Possibilities”-themed yoga session for children.
Children ages pre-K and up will act out a story with yoga poses to create their own ocean adventure with movement. Each class will use storytelling, movement, breath work, mindfulness, imagination and creativity.
Barron is a certified yoga and meditation teacher. After working in public libraries for 13 years, she loves promoting books and libraries as part of her work in mindfulness and movement, according to a news release from the Warsaw Community Public Library. Each session will be held at 10:30 a.m. June 24 and July 26 at the WCPL.
