Registration for flag football for ages 6 to 11 has started at the Kosciusko Community YMCA.
A membership at the YMCA is not required to sign up.
The YMCA’s flag football program is an environment for children to learn practical and social skills and develop positive values.
Teamwork and sportsmanship will be stressed over winning, and everyone will get a chance to play.
Flag football is also played outside at Lincoln Elementary.
The league offers two divisions, one for ages 6 to 8 and one for ages 9 to 11.
Practices and games will be Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
In addition to being an opportunity for kids, flag football will also give parents the opportunity to take an active role as a coach.
