Registration is currently taking place for Pee-Wee Basketball at the Kosciusko Community YMCA. Pee-Wee Basketball is for children from 3 years old to those in the first grade and is a great opportunity for kids to start learning the basic skills of basketball. Participation, fitness, skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship and having fun will be emphasized over winning. There will be two divisions in the Pee-Wee basketball league, one division for children ages 3 to 4 and the other for children age 5 through first grade. There will be a 30-minute practice followed by a 30-minute game on Saturdays for both divisions. Each division will play with age appropriate equipment. Games will be played on Saturdays from Oct. 18 to Nov. 22. Registration will continue through Oct. 7 with a late fee after Sept. 30. Register online at www.kcymca.org or at either of our branches. Contact Steven Kuhn at 574-269-9622 with any questions.
