YMCA’s Corporate Challenge for the businesses of Kosciusko County is offered to increase employee and community health and fitness, to build employee pride and dedication and to develop community spirit. Participants spend quality time together working as a team, outside of the normal work environment. This year’s participants are Biomet, Creighton Brothers, DePuy, Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw Community Schools, Wawasee Community Schools and Zimmer. The opening ceremonies of the Corporate Challenge will take place Sept. 20 and awards will be given Sept. 29 after 20 competitions include tug-a-war, softball, a 5k walk/run, a karaoke contest, cycling time trial, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, puzzle mania, dodgeball and more.
