Yeo's 36 Sets School Record, Pushes Trojans To Win In Roundup

ELKHART — The Triton boys basketball received a scare from Jimtown Friday, but pulled out the Northern State Conference win.
Trailing 37-22 at the half, Triton held the hosting Jimtown Jimmies to six second-half points, pulling off the 55-43 comeback victory.
The victory leaves Triton at 9-5 overall and in a three-way tie for first place in the NSC with Bremen and New Prairie at 3-1.
In their latest win, senior Clay Yeo’s 36-point effort made him Triton High School’s all-time leading scorer, surpassing 2003-graduate Ashli (Senff) Faulkner’s 1,672.
Along with Yeo’s 36 points, Triton’s Tanner Shepherd netted 10 and Seth Glingle chipped in six.
The Triton Trojans are at Argos Tuesday.

At Concord Friday, the Wawasee boys basketball team suffered its eight-straight loss, falling 82-43 to the Minutemen. While the win improved Concord to 5-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference, Wawasee dropped to 0-5 and 3-10 overall. The Warriors will look to break that skid tonight at Lakeland.

In a 96-72 loss at Pioneer Thursday, the Tippecanoe Valley girls swim team did win sis events.
