BOURBON — The accolades just keep coming for Triton senior Clay Yeo. Already slated to take part in Monday’s 2013 McDonald’s Michiana High School All-Star Game and being selected as a Top 100 senior by Hoosier Basketball Magazine, Yeo was named an Indiana Basketball Coaches Association’s first team all-state member Thursday. Yeo is one of 15 seniors on the team, being joined by Collin Hartman (Cathedral), Michael Volovic (Carmel), Darryl Baker (Jeffersonville), V.J. Beachem (New Haven), Mike Crawford (Tipton), Zak Irvin (Hamilton Southeastern), Demetrius Jackson (Mishawaka Marian), Mike Schlotman (Munster), Bryson Scott (F.W. Northrop), Blake Simmons (Castle), Basil Smotherman (Lawrence North), Austin Torres (Penn) and Zavier Turner (Pike). Leading his team to Saturday’s Class 1A state championship game against Borden at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Yeo’s averaging 26.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.9 blocks per game. Warsaw's Jared Bloom and Tippecanoe Valley's Nick Kindig were named to the honorable mention list for seniors, while Valley junior Tanner Andrews was named to the honorable mention list for underclassmen.
