WABASH – Wabash Valley Music Association presents the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra at the Honeywell Center in Wabash June 2 at 6 p.m. This is the final performance in the 2012-13 WVMA season. The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra was formed in 1930 and today performs 200 concerts for more than 350,000 people each year. The ISO will be joined onstage by Time for Three, a trio known for their energy and classical-meets-contemporary mash-ups. Featuring Zach De Pue and Nicolas Kendall on violin, and Ranaan Meyer on double bass, the group is considered the ISO's masterful artists-in-residence. Together, both groups will present a new concert for Pops fans, blending Time for Three’s signature mix of bluegrass fiddling, jazz and pop along with the classic large orchestra sound of the ISO. The all-American program features the masterworks by Gershwin and Bernstein plus a new piece for Time for Three by composer William Bolcom. Tickets are $15, $25 and $35, and can be purchased at the box office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling 260-563-1102 or by visiting www.honeywellcenter.org
