And Dean Huppert, sports director for FOX 28 in South Bend, has contributed a short touching video regarding the role that Zolman, now an executive with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Washington State, played in raising the bar for area athletics. Meanwhile, Wawasee High School Girls Basketball Coach Kem Zolman, Shanna’s father and coach of Wawasee girls’ basketball for the past 18 years, will provide a personal introduction. “Over and above everything else, including our drive to adequately fund the North Webster Community Center,” says NWCC President Dennis Wagoner, owner/operator of Ace Hardware of North Webster, “we invited Shanna here this week for an evening’s visit at the NWCC from her home in the Seattle area to remind us all of the positive role models that exist for our area youth at a time when inspiring role models could really come into play.” The doors open a 6 p.m,, with the event starting at 7 p.m., Saturday. Autographs and desserts are to follow in the banquet hall. Tickets ($10 adults, $5 for students and children) are available at the NWCC’s office (301 N.
