Principal Eric Speicher, Pierceton Elementary, reads with Jayla Swartz at a Publishing Celebration on Oct. 28 in Mrs. McCammon’s room.
The first-graders were celebrating their first writing pieces this year by inviting staff and family members to see their work. Guests were asked to give appreciations of the work by leaving a note to acknowledge something they noticed the student did as a writer.
In the photo, Alan Schroeder and granddaughter Brooke Schroeder are reading her latest writing piece together.
