Misti Thompson's first-grade students at Pierceton Elementary School celebrated their writing success with a Publishing Party February 27. Parents and other visitors were invited to join the students. Each student shared his or her book, then others in the circle shared appreciations for the author's writing. The event concluded with cookies and punch.
