Warsaw Police Department received reports Tuesday of two separate child sex abuse cases.
The first case, reported by Kosciusko County Child Protective Services, alleges that a 14-year-old female was raped by an adult male acquaintance in her residence. The girl reportedly is pregnant as a result of the alleged assault and says the rape occurred about eight to nine weeks ago.
The second case involved a 10-year-old female who was reportedly sexually assaulted by an adult. The child was in a babysitter's care at the time and reportedly was assaulted by a neighboring adult man.
Child protective services and the police department are investigating both cases and papers requesting charges are expected to be filed with Kosciusko County Prosecutor.
