Lincoln Elementary first grade welcomed Shelly Heckert, the ‘Worm Lady’ from Kosciusko Recycling. After instruction on how and what to compost, the worm lady gave every first-grade class a container with composting material, red worms and instructions for feeding. Julian, a student in Meagan Kendall’s class, is shown collecting a worm to study.
