Woodies Supermarket Educational Scholarship Trust Awards Announced

Each year, high school and college students are given the opportunity to apply for the Woodies Supermarket Scholarship Fund.
This year, 18 high school and 16 college students (total of $23,950) were given scholarships to pursue their academic careers.
Woodies Supermarket Scholarship Fund was founded in 1978 by Woodie and Devota Schramm. Woodie was a businessman in the Warsaw and Bremen areas. His wife, Devota, was a former teacher at Atwood Elementary. Mr. and Mrs. Schramm chose to share the rewards of their hard work and dedication to give other young people an opportunity.
This fund has contributed $671,300 to 1,240 Warsaw graduates since the Fund's inception in 1978.High school recipients, their parents, choice for higher education and their major for 2009-10:
