Each year, high school and college students are given the opportunity to apply for the Woodies Supermarket Scholarship Fund.
The scholarship fund was founded in 1978 by Woodie and Devota Schramm. Woodie was a businessman in the Warsaw and Bremen areas. His wife, Devota, was a former teacher at Atwood Elementary. The Scrhamms chose to share the rewards of their hard work and dedication to give other young people an opportunity.
