Women’s JCAP Started WednesdayKosciusko County Sheriff Jim Smith announced the start of the women’s Jail Chemical Addiction Program (JCAP) Wednesday.
Smith stated he was overwhelmed by the excitement in the participant’s faces when he addressed them Wednesday morning. Smith stated he appreciates the community support and the efforts and dedication of JCAP Coordinator Casey Trombley, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
Trombley said she was excited to get the women’s program started Wednesday. Casey stated the women were equally excited to get started as well. Casey noted, even in the first classes, she could see the hope and positivity within the group. Casey said she looks forward to giving updates about the group over the next 16 weeks.
