A 20-year-old Columbia City woman allegedly was raped Friday at a Warsaw car business by an employee of that business.

According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department report, the woman agreed to meet with the alleged suspect for an interview at the business Friday at 5 p.m. Upon meeting with the suspect, he advised the victim he was hungry and asked her to go eat with him. She agreed and they took her car to a local restaurant.

After eating, they returned to the business between 6:30 and 7 p.m. She parked her vehicle behind the business and the suspect allegedly began touching her. She reportedly told him "no," but he continued to touch her and then proceeded to rape her. The alleged assault lasted approximately five to 10 minutes.

After the alleged rape, the suspect put his pants back on and left. The victim told police she then dressed and left at approximately 8:30 p.m. to pick her children up in Columbia City. She went home for a few minutes and then picked her boyfriend up at a bowling alley. Upon returning home, she began to cry and told her boyfriend what happened. She then called the Columbia City Police Department.

The suspect is described as a black male with a slender build, shaved head and possibly in his 30s. He was wearing dark slacks, a yellow shirt and a tie.
