Woman Makes Video Of Man Trying To Get In HomeA Warsaw man is facing a felony charge after allegedly trying to break into a woman’s home through her window.
Jorge Fernando Oros Contreras, 27, of 2575 E. Center St., #102, Warsaw, also showing an address of Cincinnati, Ohio, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 12:50 a.m. Monday and charged with residential entry, a Level 6 felony.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed May 18 in Kosciusko Superior Court III, Kosciusko County Sheriff deputies responded at 1:30 a.m. Feb. 25 to a home after a woman called police and said Contreras had opened her bedroom window and attempted to climb in. The woman told police she took a video of the incident and provided police with that.
According to court papers, Contreras is seen in the video with his head inside the room, protruding over the threshold of the window frame.
The woman told police she has been trying to rebuff the man’s attempts at contact and that she believes he is “obsessed” with her.
A no-contact order was put in place, and his bond was set at $5,250.
