Woman Facing Domestic Battery Charges

A Warsaw woman is facing charges after she allegedly pushed her ex-husband down a flight of stairs during an argument about a haircut.

Nicole Kristen Davis, 31, of 125 Rattington Circle, Warsaw, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 9:14 p.m. March 8 and faces charges for domestic battery with a child under 16 present, a Level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed Tuesday in Kosciusko Superior Court III, on March 8 Warsaw police responded to Davis’ residence, where she said her ex-husband came to the home to drop off their three children and that one of the children got a haircut while with the father. The argument occurred at the top of a stairway, and according to court papers, Davis said she became angry and pushed her ex-husband down the stairs. He told police he was not injured. Four children were present at the time of this altercation, according to court papers.

Davis’ bond was set at $6,000.
