A Mentone woman was treated for injuries suffered when she was reportedly dragged by a vehicle early Tuesday morning in Warsaw. Charges may be filed against the man suspected in the case.
Jennifer M. Ross, 28, of North Broadway Street, suffered abrasions to both knees and bruises to her arms after the 3:33 a.m. incident near Holiday Bowl.
Ross did not want to press charges against the suspect, a former boyfriend, but the officer who responded to the scene filed paperwork with the prosecutor's office for the matter to be reviewed. A charge of criminal recklessness with a motor vehicle may result.
The incident occurred when Ross reportedly approached the vehicle to talk with the suspect. She put her arm in the window of the van and the suspect allegedly rolled the window up, pinning her arm. He reportedly drove for about half a block before rolling down the window. She then fell to the ground and the suspect fled the scene.
