WNIT Public Television will air the program “Our Town: Warsaw – Winona Lake” Sunday night. It is a video documentary featuring the people, places and happenings of Warsaw-Winona Lake as experienced by those who call the community home. The program will air at 7:30 p.m. (repeats at 9:30 p.m.) as part of WNIT’s August Membership Campaign. With a little training from WNIT’s production team, local citizens became volunteer videographers. Armed with their own home camcorders, they created a video scrapbook of the stories that make Winona Lake and Warsaw special. When the shooting was complete, WNIT’s professional staff then used these video recordings. They also used interviews done by WNIT’s producers with the volunteer videographers to professionally edit the stories and produce a documentary that reflects the emotional ties of the people who live, love and are passionate about Warsaw and Winona Lake.
