A Wisconsin man wanted on a charge of felony murder in that state is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail.

Armond N. Henderson, 20, of Milwaukee, was taken into custody without incident early this morning at a Warsaw apartment complex.

According to local police, a detective from Milwaukee notified authorities here about 1:30 a.m. that Henderson was possibly staying at a residence in the 400 block of North West Street in Warsaw. However, after obtaining a search warrant for the residence, it was learned that Henderson had moved to Eastgate Apartments.

City, county and state police then converged on the Clinic Court address, where Henderson was apprehended.

Local authorities were not aware of Henderson's connection to the Warsaw area.

Details of Henderson's alleged crime were not available at press time. Telephone calls to the Milwaukee Police Department and Milwaukee County District Attorney's office were not returned late this morning.
