You are absolutely correct. I would never consider riding my bike in the winter, let alone on icy, snow-packed roads.
We have noticed that since my previous letters to the editor about sharing the roads while we run, motorists have appeared to be more aware of runners and be more courteous as they drive past us. We truly appreciate that and want to thank those drivers.
