WINONA LAKE - Purchase and installation of flow meters to measure the sewage going to Warsaw was approved by the town council Tuesday.
Public works superintendent Pete O'Connell said the costs would be about $7,000 and he would be able to check for infiltration of storm water, if any, because the amount of flow would spike after rain. The town also will be able to know how much sewage is being treated by Warsaw's wastewater treatment plant.
Town coordinator Craig Allebach commented on several issues, saying plans for the Winona Greenway construction are being finalized and bids are being prepared for advertisement.
