Winona Powder Coating has invested in a second new powder coating system.
“I am proud to announce we will be installing a second new Gema Magic Brand Powder Coating System in our Etna Green facility,” said Jamie Visker, Winona CEO. “This new Gema system will bring us superior powder application technology. Also, quicker color changes and clean-up. And these systems really reduce both the amount of powder we use and the amount we lose.”
He further stated, “Plus we get a cleaner and healthier environment for our employees.”
Winona Powder Coating is a leading provider of Powder Coating and E-Coat Services for a wide range of industries, according to a news release from the company. Winona Powder Coating is ISO 9001 and UL certified and complies with automotive, agriculture and military specifications.
Winona is comprised of two facilities - headquartered in Etna Green in 167,000 square feet (about half the area of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool) with a second facility in Elkhart with 50,000 square feet (about half the area of a Manhattan city block).
Jamie Visker said, “Working with Conexus Indiana, Indiana Economic Development Corp. and the Next Level Manufacturing Institute, we were able to secure a $145,601 grant for this project.”
