Winona Man Arrested On Molesting ChargesA Winona Lake man is being held on $201,000 bail after being accused of molesting a child.
Trece Douglas Blanton, 21, of 1202 Wooster Road, lot 6, Winona Lake, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday and faces four Level 3 felony charges of child molesting.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed Tuesday in Kosciusko Superior Court I, on Feb. 14 Winona Lake Police received a report of child molesting occurring in Winona Lake. That day, a forensic interview was completed by the Department of Child Services with the juvenile boy who, according to court documents, said Blanton had “placed his ‘pee pee’ in his butt” and that Blanton also “placed his mouth on his ‘pee pee.’”
The child also told police that Blanton had told him not to tell anybody.
When police asked Blanton about the accusations on Feb. 14, Blanton admitted to it, court papers say. Blanton also told police, according to court papers, that he began abusing the child after Christmas in December and the last incident occurred in January.
