A Winona Lake family is still feeling the effects of an electric shock accident last week.
Wednesday, Mark A. Cole, 52, Sunday Lane, and three of his sons, Thomas R. Cole, 19; Jacob O. Cole, 15; and Samuel B. Cole, 17; were injured when a television tower they were helping remove hit some power lines.
Thomas was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital and released.
Jacob and Samuel received more severe injuries and were transported to the burn unit of St. Joseph's' Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Jacob recently was released, though he is still recuperating from burns to his leg.
Samuel is still at St. Joseph's, though Mark said he hopes the family will be able to welcome him home this weekend.
Both Jacob and Samuel went through some skin grafting to repair damage.
Mark said Samuel was the worst off of all three boys and had burns to his hands and leg.
The Cole family has 10 children in all, according to Mark, though right now their top priority is Sam.
"Our biggest concern right now is Sam and getting him home," said Mark.
Mark also gave St. Joseph's high marks.
"(St. Joseph's) is really a top-notch facility. They're very diligent and we're very lucky (Jacob and Sam) were there," Mark said.
